But they did take Southampton, which nobody expected. Don't spin it, this is a bad night for Labour. I prefer Labour to the Tories but even I can see that.

But are seven councils up and Labour are two down. How the fuck do the Tories lose in that situation? As much as I hate to admit it, they're in a strong position to beat Labour in the next general election and take the London Mayorship.

ReplyDeleteThats the problem with politics these days. People would rather be critical of a soundbite than look at the actual result.
ReplyDeleteI don't mind looking at the result. The tories said they were going to gain Bolton. The results indicate they haven't.
