Just for the record: all the views expressed here are entirely personal and do not necessarily represent the positions of any organisations I am a member of.
So just as Coulson had his day in court to defend himself and lost, so perhaps we should see Brown have his day in court and see what the jury thinks. The funniest thing was seeing John Prescott on C4 news explaining to us about bullying. This is the man who sexually harassed a young secretary until she slept with him. Nuff said.
Yes but the trouble is that the victim would have to come forward. the only person we know for sure has been duffed up by the PM is Cameron, and I doubt he'd be up for it.
We shouldn't tolerate bullying at all...zero tolerance. I'm not saying Brown is a bully because there hasn't been an independent investigation.
If Brown is bullying his staff then I'm afraid it should be subject to the same investigation as any other public sector worker. Politicians at the end of the day have made an issue of bullying in the workplace and should abide by the rules.
I think politicians are too used to setting rules and then ignoring them completely. I see no reason why a PM can't be sacked under gross misconduct if he is proven to be bullying, sexually harrassing staff etc etc.
Margaret Thatcher bullied Britain.
ReplyDeleteEurosceptics bullied John Major.
David Cameron feels intimidated each time he visits Legoland.

ReplyDeleteSurely the point is that Andy Coulson is not the PM, he's not even an MP, and we're not paying his salary.

As yet I have yet to see any proof.
