Deputy Leadership backers
The latest supporters listed on Harriet Harman's website are Yvette Cooper and Geoff Hoon.
That's significant as both are very close to Gordon.
It could be that he's given his supporters a free hand and there are personal friendships and loyalties at play here but maybe there is a line going out?
Or... will an alternative strategy of hedging of bets become evident, with some of the Chancellor's allies being embedded in each deputy leadership campaign so that they all owe him something?

Harrie was even briefing against Tone at a Bucks CLP very recently ... naughty girl ... saying he'd lost it (a bit) ... good job there were no NUJ members or moles in the room innit?

Hoon has been on Harriet's list by some weeks, whilst Cooper was added recently (yesterday, I think)

The worst everything ever. Fantastic line up wasting 30 mins on last day Brighton 05 ... Hoon, Amos and Faulkner telling us how to connect with the electorate. Hilarious. I was glued to a seat completely out of ear shot.

Luke, you're spot on.
Tom Watson is backing Cruddas, for example.
You work it out...

Didn't Yvette used to work for the Hat?
I don't see the conspiracy myself. Just the fact that they realise the job is worthless so it doesn't matter.
By the way, the one who's really lost it is the Hat.

I think you can still get 7-1 on Harriet...
I expect things will move quite quickly in the DL race after the local elections, as it becomes clear who the three or four candidates are who will actually make it onto the ballot paper.
I wonder why the Crudmeister doesnt publish a list of his supporters?

When did Tom Watson come out as pro-Cruddas?
