Back tomorrow
Apologies for the lack of posts. I've been in The Hague attending the 15th anniversary conference of ECOSY, the youth section of the Party of European Socialists, as a Veteran (Euro poltical speak for has-been) - I was Vice-President of ECOSY for 4 years back in my youth... normal service will resume tomorrow.

It's a shame current Young Labour members weren't invited Luke (I know you aren't responsible)...
Do you know if there was anyway we could have gone?

The delegations are actually very small because there are now about 40 member organisations - so tends just to be national officers of organisations who attend. The event each year that larger numbers of people can attend is the Summer Camp - there's no limit on the delegation size - for instance our Italian sister organisation regularly sends over 100 people and I think 25 from the UK went to Romania a couple of years ago - though there would be a limit to how many Young Labour could afford to pay for. I don't think the date has been set yet for this year. The Labour Students & Young Labour offices nationally would put the delegation together.

They don't advertise the camp to Young Labour members though. Well not in the last three years anyway.
What is the Young Labour office you refer to? There are no allocated staff members, and the National Committee never meets. Please let me know!

I hope you paid for this trip yourself!
