Actually one redeeming feature of the Brown era is that the toffs appear out of favour in New Labour.

Babs Follet has had an intersting past. She was born in Jamacia and grew up in Ethiopia where In 1957, at a banquet given by the Emperor for Yugoslavia's President Tito, her father, Vernon Hubbard, fell into a drinks trolley during the Royal toast. This was deemed an insult to His Imperial Majesty Haile Selassie I, Conquering Lion of the Tribe of Judah, King of Kings of Ethiopia and Elect of God and Hubbard was asked to leave the country. Married four times as well. As you can se a perfect New Labour background
