I don't want to rain on your parade, it doesn't sound like you expect to win on Thursday.

Your usual balls.
You've beem desperately trying to boost Labour in the face of all the evidence to the contrary that it is knackered. At the eleventh hour, you come up with the cacky formula for your own embarassment "good for Labour".
Wot like getting a cold shower every morning when you were at school.

I enjoyed reading your column. You are spot on with your obervations on the 'good for democracy' angle and the positives of having to fight London-wide, because of the voting system(s). I have more on www.londonersvotescount.org.uk - but you have put nicely into the Labour context.

Going forward we will take positive lessons from our massacre at the polls and the whole Party will benefit from being as popular as Pol Pot and seeing membership plummet.

It's probably worth showing this to every single soft Boris vote or undecided:

A May 3rd question more than anything, but if Ken loses then we (ie. Labour) need to have a serious think about how we do London politics as the last decade has been driving blind in my view.

Given up already Luke?

It's reunited London Labour around the glorious Livingstone...
...who then can't keep his trap shut long enough to not back the Respect Party's candidates for the Assembly, or to hold off from going campaigning with Jenny Jones.
I would have expected you to be the first to back his expulsion over that. Maybe if he loses Friday you will be.
