Tonight is showing that Labour still hasnt hit its base as its still losing more seats compared with the last election. This is good for the country.

Oh, and how can New Labour supporters explain their love relationship with Socialist Ken.

I wouldn't call you a c***, I think that's really uncalled for - but I do think you're living in cloud cuckoo land - you're doing really badly - one seat here and there isn't that great.

You support the Iraq war. Is that out of ignorance. And please dont say democracy has been a success as it hasnt. Iraq is tribal, and democracy doesnt really fit such a society.

If Iraq was justified then by your logic how about invading Saudi Arabia, Iran, North Korea, Pakistan, China, and many more nations who threaten its people.

I support Ken as he's not new labour, he's an interesting synthesis of new and old labour, he's done a bloody brilliant job in london, buses are cheaper than my home town, more convenient (especially the night buses), tube generally runs OK and i've NEVER felt threatened in london even at wee hours. Sure, things can be improved but the things that make London unique, do you think that Johnson will really give much time to the needs of the largest male homosexual community? the rich tapestry of communities that make up some areas of london (friend from home commented it as the most distinctive thing about london, the contrast between great wealth and lesser well off areas).

I'd love to know which Baathist Policy John Doe admired the most. The gassing of Kurds or the thousands of 'disappeared'.

BTW I think the Labour Party still have principals. I know a local headteacher who supports them. LOL

Perhaps his level of intelligence is indicated by his capacity for spelling.

Perhaps the "with us or against us" fallacy that anonymous is proposing shows the level of his intelligence.

So the Baathist regime should have been left in place as your mate catman condoned?

If you're suggesting that the Iraqis are better off now, you're the biggest fucking moron I've ever seen on the internet. And thats saying something. I hope what you're attempting to say is that you think Iraq has the possibility of getting better in the future, so the Iraqis can have a higher living standard than they had under Hussein, rather than saying that standard has been reached already.

I can say with confidence that the Kurds prefer knowing that their national government aren't going to gas them.

Stop the terrorism against Iraqis that you support and they will be better off.

Tories have failed to take control of Hastings. 2 Lab gains from LDs, Lab lost 1 to Tories. LD vote has imploded. Labour vote has held up overall. One seat to declare which is a deadheat.

I'm all for freedom of speech, but can we cut down the number of c- words being used in this thread - some of us don't particularly want to read that.

Well, Luke, you may have supported what Labour did in Iraq, but I didn't, and nor did many others.

I think that to argue that New Labour still have the hearts and minds of Labour voters is not the case.

Are you going to listen - or would you rather lose?
