“Tories 14 points ahead in two polls”
November 14th, 2009
Tory pressman Henry Macrory has just Twittered to say “Two polls tonight will give Conservatives a 14pt lead”.
YouGov has Tory lead still at 14%
Anthony Wells reports that YouGov have a poll in tomorrow's Sunday Times with the following numbers:
Conservatives - 41% (-)
Labour - 27% (-)
Lib Dems - 18% (+1)
Those figures compute into a Conservative Commons majority of 82.

Could you explain how we get a swing from Green to LD when there was no Green candidate in 2007 (the Independent got 70% of the possible vote in a two seat ward in 2007 and the two LDs got 56% between them)
