Factionalism of the micro-variety is tiresome.
I'd like to see a stop to slates for NEC elections in any case. Let people stand as individuals and we can make a judgment based on what they say.
I always prioritise people not standing as part of a slate in any case or those who are independent minded like Ann Black

There is a problem on the left with too many soft left candidates. The facts are there are eight on a slate, with Susan and Peter the best of them by a mile, with some indepedent progressives standing such as myself. The choice is Labour New Labour First, or Some GRA/LRC with progressive independents. So if I want change I know the way to go.
