Another good reason to support Ed Miliband
Ed Miliband said today:
"I strongly support the case for introducing the Alternative Vote, to ensure greater fairness for voters and greater legitimacy for our MPs in Westminster. Whenever the referendum takes place, I will campaign with other supporters across the political spectrum for this important change."

I support him as well, but support for AV does not get me that excited. Should come out for STV. But then again he does have an election to win!

And only AV is in the referendum question.

True but he's not just campaigning for this September and next May. From his meeting with the socialist societies the other night he does convince me he is looking a little further on. I just think it is a shame in 2010 that not one of the candidates feels confident enough to openly support PR. Don't blame him though.

I used to be a fan of PR but after this mess of a government I'm not too sure about it. Both the Tories and the lib dems are not really honouring their election promises.
As for AV I don't even understand how it works so I won't be voting for that.
I can honestly see the labour getting completely stitched over this. In particular reducing the number of MPs. Labour could end up being in opposition for good.

40% cuts on the way, and so is a shit storm. This is going to trigger a national strike. The Tories seem he'll bent on sacking over a million people and not even having the balls to pay them off.
Surely this isn't legal.
