Worth Valley ward, in the all-out elections of 2004, elected a BNP councillor.
It is hard to believe that now!
Strong and determined opposition has done such a great deal to turn back the Nazi tide in Bradford.
That Blaby result does not look to good for the BNP either. And this comes so soon after yet another BNP councillor has left the party.

But Bradford labour really needs to get its act together to win next May as we are doing elsewhere
Surely the home of the ILP must be won for Labour
come on comrades
and yes well done on defeating BNP

Worth Valley isn't 'Bradford' per se - its Haworth and the posh surrounding villages. Its been a safe Tory seat for most of its existence: Eric Pickles used to represent it on Bradford Council! Not a bad result for us, actually. The Fib Dem vote dropped.
The BNP won one out of three seats in the allout elections of 2004.
