Latest Aussie poll
Latest poll in the Australian General Election shows Labor's lead on the two-party preferred vote increasing to 10%:
This poll is penultimate confirmation that the Coaltion is stuffed. To be trailing this close to polling (40-48 on primary vote) is basically fatal, and the sense of Rudd momentum is starting to make previously safe Coalition seats like Leichardt and North Sydney serious Labor chances.
More than anything else next two weeks will determine wether the Coalition can salvage a credible parliamentary position (most crucially in the upper house) or suffer a 30-40 seat blow-out (and the loss of moderate, talented members like Malcolm Turnbull, Joe Hockey and Petro Georgiou
