3Clearly, when a party does not even realise as late as half an hour after the polls close that it is going to be heavily defeated, then there is something badly wrong.

I have much less sympathy with some of the other things that Luke says. The Labour party can be very arrogant in expecting people to vote for it in spite of its stance on many issues.

Not one word of criticism from Luke for Blair's deception on Iraq.
