Council by-elections

There were just two by-elections yesterday:

Ross-on-Wye West Ward, Herefordshire Council. Con hold. Con 695 (54.4%, +21.8), Ind 312 (24.4%, -4.1), LD 270 (21.1%, -12.6). Swing of 12.9% from Ind to Con since 2011.

Highbridge & Burnham Marine Ward, Sedgemoor DC. LD hold. LD 379 (30.6%, -1.3), Con 288 (23.3%, +2.3), Ind 253 (20.5%, -8.2), Lab 249 (20.1%, +1.7), Ind 68 (5.5%, +5.5). Swing 1.8% LD to Con since 2011.
