I can almost swear that Roberta Blackman-Woods was on Herman's list some months ago. Then she disappeared and now she has appeared on Blears' list.
If I'm not day-dreaming, I think it's a blow to Harriet to see her supporters switching away

Let's just say that I'm not on Harriet Harman's Christmas card list at the moment.

I'm pulling out all the stops for our Hazel, though. She'll have no trouble getting those nominations!

As Ian says, Hazel has issued a statement about this which says everything there is to say.

Will there be a donation made out of the profits that Blears has made to help Bangladeshi trade unions organise?

Cut out the middle man and
ask her office. Good idea though. "Profits" suggests you think there have been lots of sales ...

I don't particulary think there have been many sales really based upon who would wear one of the items. Any they have sold have been for novelty value or because they think they might fetch a bit on ebay in the future.

I was asking you as you are a supporter of hers and (although I disagree fundamentally with your politics) a good trade unionist.

I said I think a donation would be a good idea. It's a genuine screw-up and she has apologised. It's not like she instructed her people to source campaign materials from the most exploitative sources possible - they thought the stuff was made in Germany and this connection was buried about 4 layers into the supply chain.
