Migration request

Watching Sir Andrew Green of anti-immigration group Migration Watch giving unwarranted intellectual succour to racists nationwide on Newsnight yet again last night, I couldn't help wishing that the UK's migration statistics would go up by one. If Sir Andrew is so worried about living in a multicultural society that people from around the world want to move to and contribute to economically and culturally, I wish he would emigrate himself, preferably as far away as possible.

This man and his organisation is the respectable face of racism. I am sick and tired of seeing him presented as some sort of reasoned opinion on the issue.

I don't think his far right position should be treated as anything other than what it is.

I'd settle for increasing the NHS stats by one in his case.

I thought that in a free society people were allowed to speak their minds?

Telling him he's welcome to leave is about as justifiable as a BNP member screaming go home.

If you don't agree with what he says, open a serious debate, if you fear that debate, then don't pontificate about it.
