Lambeth & Southwark - LAB HOLD

Labour holds Lambeth & Southwark with a majority quadroupled to 23,500 - no progress by the Lib Dems in their number one target GLA seat.

The Liberal Democrats are having a terrible election, possibly losing one third of their vote. They may lose two list seats.

Excellent - I moved into Lambeth from Croydon a few months ago, and for the first time since I was at Uni I had someone from the Labour Party to represent me. I was very worried by the Lib Dem leaflets claiming they were very close to taking the seat - I guess lots of others were too.
