But this is based on the results so far. Many of the largest local authorities count tomorrow.

Whilst it looks bad I will be suprised if these ratios continue.

That is lower than Blair at his worst moment.

It didn't help having this complete incompetence over the 10p tax rate.

It's down to Livingstone to save the day tomorrow.

Again since I come from NI I can see this a bit more impartially the large city wards are still to vote so I would doubt the cons will keep this up. Ken and Boris are neck and neck i wouldn;t want to bet on either

Wake up and smell the coffee! Gordon Brown is not so much a 'has been', more like a 'never was'!

Your judgement of individuals is questionable given your admiration for Saddam Hussain.

I wouldn;t be awfully upset to see labour broken and I think a lot of others would agree

Good luck Labour, lots of hard working activists out GOTV today and there is still only one mass membership political party but well done to all the activists from all the democratic parties.

For those who haven't figured it out yet, somebody is impersonating me with the same name. Easy to tell the difference though, my icon is orange and his is brown.

Labour have clearly got some sorting out to do. Turnouts aren't good, and I think its a case of Labour voters staying at home and Tories being motivated to vote as much as anything else.

But I don;t think results as bad as this can be brushed off

Actually things can get worse, you can always count on Brown to take a bad situation and make it worse.
I'm an 18 years old Labour Party Member and frankly I don't care if he loses.

Just heard the Labour spokesman banging on about how united the labour party is...

Have to feel sorry for all those hard working Labour Councillors: Lions lead by a great big dour old braying donkey.

Gordon Brown is the Labour party's version of Sir Anthony Eden, waited so long for the job, but when he got it he is found wanting. Quite simply not up to the job. He definately is the Dumfermline Disaster, a political Jonah.

Even in 79, when Thatcher swept to power, we were still taking control of councils around the country and became the part of local government..... now Gordon the Moron has taken us to third!

He tried to rob the poor to keep the rich happy. And lets not forget the clown stole from all company pensions, thats why so many are now shut. Gordon Brown the Master of Disaster.
