Thank you, Walthamstow and Tottenham

Many thanks to delegates at Walthamstow CLP and Tottenham CLP who voted on Thursday night to nominate me to be a candidate at the 22 November regional conference to represent North and East London CLPs on the London Labour Party Regional Board.

So who else is running Luke? In your CLP division or in the others?

Akhtar Beg (Chingford) is the left candidate & sitting member.

There is talk about 2 candidates from Newham, both good people - Alan Griffiths and Unmesh Desai but not sure if they actually running.

Laura Bruni from Walthamstow who is from the left looks uncontested for the women's place.

Sitting members running in most of the rest of London with a more complete left slate than 2 years ago but I don't have all the names.

As the left only really has the Central Division CLP reps and Raj Jethwa, who is standing against them?

Raj is uncontested I think, as is Francis Prideaux. There may be a vacancy for women's slot in Central CLPs division given Lucy Anderson is running for the NPF position vs. Maggie Cosin.
